Stay and staff was great only complaint is that the room we were assigned had a constant buzzing sound from next door and lasted the entire 4 days that we were there. Also some of the walls had brown stains and the rags to bathe had other human hair on it which was not ours. Other than that it was great and I would stay again.

There was always someone at the entrance of the hotel to help us find transportation and restaurant locations. They also were very good at locating at taxi for transportation to the airport. Hotel front desk staff were always willing to help us with requests.

Location was excellent! A few places to eat and have a drink inside, great fuse from observatory 11 and from our room; easy walking distance to the French Quarter Bourbon Street and other places. Particular shout out to the guys and the young lady out front that helped us get a cab an Uber or a shuttle. Every day they offered a friendly greeting with a smile and unbounded professionalism. We will recommend this hotel to family and friends that are in that area.

Very basic for the price. Noise level is remarkable. Guest doors slam with a bang. There is a cargo train deport right next to the hotel. For reasons unknown trains pass only at night or early in the morning, apparently including weekends. And for some reason blow their horns with a great might. To remedy the situation, the hotel provides guests with foam earplugs rather than installing soundproof windows.

Our stay was disappointing. We signed up for daily room cleaning but didn’t receive it at all. I had to call and visit the front desk multiple times just to request basic cleaning services. The lack of cleanliness made my allergies flare up badly. Additionally, some of the cleaning staff were rude—when my friend politely asked for clean towels, they began speaking in Spanish, unaware that she actually speaks the language and understood everything. I also asked a male staff member if our room was on the cleaning list, and he flat-out lied, saying no. When I checked with the front desk, they confirmed our room was supposed to be cleaned and had already informed the staff. Overall, the experience was frustrating and far below expectations. For the price we paid, the lack of basic service and professionalism was unacceptable. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless serious improvements are made.

I’d say the hotel is a 3 star hotel, not 4. Location is great. Right in the middle of the city. But you have to valet or park in the garage which adds about $65 a night. Rooms are slightly dated, clean but it’s an older hotel. I'd probably choose another hotel next time visiting New Orleans.
