I absolulty love this Hotel . It’s been over 20 years since my last visit and the staff always amazes me. From the front desk to the Cleaning Ladies for the rooms to the bar. And the concierge is so fantastic. We met the property manager. He was so friendly. I think we must’ve chatted for 30 minutes. I love the pool on the roof. The fact you can have a drink lay by the pool and actually take a shower right after it’s so refreshing. They know where all the great restaurants are to eat and if there’s anything extra that you need, they’re always there to help. This is a must stay when you go to South Beach.!

Stayed two nights in an Oceanfront Balcony King and absolutely loved it. Fantastic location and massive room with a terrace overlooking Ocean Drive - great for ocean views and people watching. Spent several relaxing hours on the rooftop by the pool - a perfect Zen atmosphere. Highly recommend!

This is a fine hotel within easy walking distance from the beach and the art deco district. I encountered a gentleman whom I took to be the manager, who was very friendly in pointing out to us features of the property which distinguish it from others, including the fact that it was built above sea level, and has art-deco era lobby floors. Housekeeping was friendly and flawless. Don't leave without checking our the swimming pool on the 4th floor! The room was more reasonably priced than others one block closer to the beach. This hotel is a great, savvy choice for a stay in south beach!

Hotel is in excellent location. Our assigned room on the first floor was inches away from a parking lot, which meant we had to have the shades drawn thruout the day, making the room feel like a dungeon. Also, when the air conditioning cycled on, it came blasting on with a roar. But room was clean, bed comfortable, and bathroom was small but adorable and well thought out. Rooftop pool was a pleasant amenity.

Close to the action in South Beach area, decent sized hotel room, comfortable bed. Able to store luggage while we went to beach in the morning before hopping on cruise ship. Perfect for our purposes.

This place is at the heart of South Beach. However our room was quiet and we did not hear all of the parties nearby at night. It's actually two different buildings - the main building on Collins Avenue and the one that we were in on Ocean, closest to the beach. Breakfast is not included but you get a 20% discount at the News Cafe downstairs and also a free pair of lounge chairs at the beach. (Beach umbrella extra)
