Apex Grassmarket Hotel
"We really loved this hotel due to its proximity to all the main areas and the views to the castle were incredible. Try to get a 4th or 5th floor room and an odd number for the best views of Edinburgh Castle. Restaurants were on the street below and plenty of choices. Keep in mind there is no a/c but that’s common. Staff was excellent and room was cleaned each day. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back."
