Cozy Pond-side Cabin

Great 2 bedroom cabin built on a private pond in the heart of the White Mountains. The porch over hangs the water. Where you can fish off your porch, watch and relax to the wildlife (ducks, geese, frogs, muskrats, herons, etc.) in the pond. Enjoy BBQ-ing on the porch. All rooms have a fantastic view of the pond and pines. Open kitchen/living room complete with gas fireplace. Two bedrooms – master bedroom suite upstairs complete with walk-in closet, large vanity, queen size bed, large jacuzzi tub, walk-in shower, and small porch. The other bedroom is comfortable downstairs with queen size bed, two folding cots, shower, and bathroom.

Close to restaurants, shopping, antiques shops, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, and skiing.

The Woodland Lake Park has it’s beautiful lake, miles of hiking trails, grilling areas, and a children's playground. Recommended places to eat are: Grumpy Jacks for BBQ, Pinoli Café for fresh daily rustic Italian, American café, Charlie Clark's Steakhouse, the picnic basket, Zeke’s, Darbi's Cafe, The Lion's Den Bar and Grill with live music, The Pasta House, and the Red Devil Restaurant & Bar. The Hon Dah Casino that offers gaming, live entertainment, and an all you can eat buffet is nearby. And for the family is the nearby WME Village 8 movie theater and White Mountain Family Fun Park. Horseback riding at Porter Mountain Stables, and others.

A scenic thirty-minute drive will get you to the Sunrise Park Resort that provides both Winter and Summer outdoor activities. During the winter, Skiing and Snowboarding are the things to do, but in the summer, the park offers: lift-served mountain bike trails, an air bag jump, super slide, zip-line, bungee jump, 45-foot rock climbing wall, archery, disc golf, and bouncy house for the little ones. Additionally, the area is surrounded by several lakes that offer some of the best trout fishing in the State!

Beautiful home on private pond

We had a great time. Liam communicated promptly and we even had the opportunity to check in early. The pond is peaceful and pretty. I watched mallards, heron, muskrat and a host of birds while fishing off the porch. I caught bluegill, bass and catfish.

2nd time for us!

This was our second trip to the cabin, and again it was a great stay. We fished every day at the pond catching bass and bluegill. While enjoying the deck that overhangs the pond, we saw lots of colorful birds, ducks, frogs and muskrats. We can’t wait to book our next trip.
