Beautiful property and great relaxing atmosphere after a long day out exploring Kyoto. A block away from the metro, across the street from shopping, nightlife and all the food you will ever need. Helpful staff, I highly recommend.

Location is good, near trains to access tourist sites. Hotel reception is very nice. But hotel room too small. Beds too hard. Lot of Mosquitos in Kyoto, most were living in my room.

Superb!!!

Beautiful facility located in the heart of Kyoto. The bed was extremely firm and very comfortable. The room was super quiet with no external noise at all. And the breakfast buffet was the best that I have ever experienced. It puts the American hotel breakfasts to shame!!! And there is a bakery two doors down that offered wonderful gods.The staff was friendly and very accommodating. All in all, Superb!

The room was comfortable, tasteful, taller ceiling, but could be a little dark at night. The mini refrigerator was convenient, but without a microwave it meant more drinks than actual food, unless it was already cold, like a dessert. Having a small table and chairs was a nice treat to sit down and eat in the room. The place was filled with more foreigners than locals. There is an app you can get to use the public washer and dryer for your clothes, but be aware everyone is trying to use it too. This was a nice choice to get to most of the shopping and tourist areas. If you wanted to wander further into normal neighborhoods with smaller mini marts, that wasn’t too far either. It was definitely a nice place to stay.

This hotel is in a good location. However, the rooms are not well cleaned and one of our rooms had to be swapped due to dirty bedding. There were other serious oversights in cleaning across both rooms. There was a man at the front desk who aggressively snapped at me for asking a question during check-in. When sitting down at the bar to kill some time, we were asked for a 500Y cover charge, even though we were hotel guests.

Despite the miscommunication regarding my luggage delivery, the staff greeted and were kind. We arrived early before check in time, but they held my luggages until my room was ready and had my luggages set up in the room already.
