Facility was nice, clean and had a modern feel. Room was nice and well appointed, a bit small but great for the price. Breakfast was acceptable but a bit pricey at ¥2000 per person. There were plenty of eating options at the Nijo Train Station which is directly across the street. My biggest issue with our stay was the laundry; there are 5 machines which are washer/dryer combo units which dispense detergent/softener automatically. The cost is ¥600 for a wash and dry and takes 2 hours. After the cycle was completed my clothes were still soaking wet. Add on dry was ¥100 per 30 minutes, after 3 hours we finally gave up and hung our clothes in the room. Plus the softener made the clothes feel damp and off.

This hotel’s location was amazing because of the access to a subway station. Check in and check out were done electronically and went smoothly. A ton of great restaurants were only a few blocks away!

The only reason i gave the cleanliness portion a 3 and overall a 4 is because i did wake up to a few bug bites from sleeping in the bed during my stay. The bites were located on my foot and ankle, while another was up on my right knee.

The breakfast is buffet, but most of the staff, including those in the kitchen, were coughing without masks. Food choices are limited, especially if you have any food allergies. The location isn't bad. It's right next to Nijo Station, which is really convenient. The room is nice, and the shower is great. If they had a better buffet, I would give this location a 4-star rating.
