This hotel was brilliant, could not fault at all. Rooms are good size for Japan, clean, comfy, great bathroom with high powered shower. The onsen onsite is amazing and relaxing. Great location for access around Kyoto, train station 200m away, food, nightlife and anything you need at your doorstep. Great value & would stay here anytime coming to Kyoto.

Very comfortable for an inner city hotel. Very convenient for almost everything you might want to do during a short stay in Kyoto. The rooftop bar is beautifully located and the onsen are well worth using after a long day of walking.

We really enjoyed our stay! The rooftop terrace was very pretty at night, the foot bath an added bonus. The onsens are very beautiful and relaxing too.

Soraniwa is a very relaxing hotel with traditional Japanese amenities. The onsens are lovely & were rejuvenating. The staff was friendly & helpful. Robes & slippers are provided by the hotel. I would definitely recommend Soraniwa in Kyoto!

Perfect place to stay with access to Gion. Love the onsen ritual morning and evening. Love the shows and Yukata. Wonderful experience. Amazing service.
