"Adagio is conveniently located on the Royal Mile, btwn South/Northbridge and Holyrood Palace (downhill from Edinburgh Castle and St Giles Cathedral). All the highlights of Old Town are well within comfortable walking distances. Waverly train station, the trams on Princes St and the bus station are approx 10-15 mins walk. This aparthotel is clean and well-kept, and has good amenities. I loved that this part of Old Town is relatively quiet at night. There is a convenience store nearby too. We got groceries so we could enjoy a light breakfast in our room, and we were able to cook meals or heat leftovers during some nights. There is no hotel bar but there’s plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby. The hotel mgmt/staff excelled in customer service. They were very responsive to my questions and needs. I highly recommend Adagio and would definitely stay here again next time I visit Edinburgh! "

"The Apex is a modern hotel in the old (but busy and touristy) part of Edinburgh. Plenty of restaurants and coffee shops in the surrounding area. It’s within easy walking distance of the Royal Mile, the Museum and Princess Street although with suitcases, a taxi to Waverley station is needed. Overall, very pleased with our stay."
