Bar staff was amazing. Liberte restaurant had bad menu, food was not good. Room service needs some refresher courses. Front desk did not give wake up call . Cleaning staff missed our room twice , had to request items every day

Hotel needs concierge services. Desk clerks are responsible for customer checkin, questions and issues as well as concierge services. Several times we had long wait for simple inquiries because the desk clerk was busy booking tours for other guests and in one case no one was at the desk for quite some time.

Nice stay in great location

Had a great stay here for a few nights! The hotel was beautiful and in great condition. The location was great for exploring and dining out. Our room was located on a lower floor and it was very peaceful and quiet. Check in was a breeze. Will definitely stay here again when we are back.

While the hotel itself is lovely parking was a real issue, no onsite parking & if you don’t have a mobile phone to scan for parking at the hotel you don’t get discount at car park which is a 10 minute walk from hotel

Beware there's no parking at this hotel. Parking is behind it and takes 10 min to get to from the front of the hotel. Ask at the desk how to nav from parking to hotel so you avoid lugging your suitcase up a bunch of stairs outside like we did.

Good spot!

Great amenities and location without being too overrun with tourists. The staff were really nice, although the process for checking in new guests could be smoother. The only thing that I think needs changing is the room service. The app allows you to put a tip, but the tip doesn't actually go to the person bringing me my tray.

The location is ideally located a quick walk from Waverley Station and to the Royal Mile. The rooms were clean, quiet and a decent size. The property itself is close to a shopping centre with lots of inexpensive food options but also close to several pubs and restaurants.

Great hotel near, but not too near, royal mile

This was a very lovely hotel in Edinburgh off the hustle and bustle of the royal mile but close enough to walk to everything. The room was spacious with tall ceilings and windows, which added to the overall vibe. The room was clean with nice touches, and the staff were friendly! Very quiet as well.
