Check in was quick and straight forward. Complimentary glass of champagne was a nice touch. Room was very well equipped,bed was comfortable. Hotel is ideally located for exploring the city, we will definately return

Excellent location right beside tram station which arrives direct from airport. Lots of added extras like champagne on arrival, free mini bar and ghd in room . Situated middle of old and new town. Walking distance to Edinburgh Castle . Definitely be back , best ever hotel

Staff were extremely attentive and knowledgeable about the local area. Many fantastic bar and restaurant recommendations made and also places to visit that were not frequented by tourists. The public areas in the hotel were kept clean and the room we had (607) was spotless and extremely comfortable. Just what we needed to help us recharge.

A great hotel modern and well designed using quality finishes. Room was very comfortable with a roomy well appointed bathroom, comfortable bed and room to spread out. Complimentary refreshments and drinks in the room were an unexpected surprise and nice touch. The staff are very trendily and helpful making your stay even more enjoyable. Location is spot on next to Waverley station and a stones through from the Royal mile, Princes St, Castle and everything Edinburgh has to offer. Would highly reccemmend

Convenient and extremely comfortable

I was pleasantly surprised by this place conveniently just across from the train station. It was welcomed when I got late to Edinburgh. Their lounge offered a great view, had a good vibe all around and was extremely comfortable. One of the highlights of my trip.

The bedding needed to be changed it was covered in small hairs. When we asked for new bedding the receptionist and person bringing new bedding were not friendly and seemed put out. In addition, in the loft we had one bartender who was very dismissive when he learned we wouldn’t be eating or getting more than one drink. Other than that our stay was decent. We loved location and most staff were friendly.
