Lots of shops and restaurants/pubs right outside the door. Breakfast was good. You could just have the buffet with croissants, cheese, fruit etc or order off the menu. The coffee/latte machine near check in was nice. I didn't have to go out for a latte or cappuccino. I appreciated the room upgrade and that there was a mini fridge in the room (but a microwave would have been useful for the restaurants that served generous portions). I thought everyone working the front desk were kind and helpful. I was initially concerned that the late evening pub music might keep me up but I only heard a faint base beat

Great room in awesome location. We were able to walk to the castle, do th royal mile down to the palace and then walk up Carlton hill in a great day out, then walk back to our room from there and have a great meal and a Guinness at the Irish pub next door.

Clean, good sized room which surprised me after reading other reviews. Bed was really comfortable and staff were helpful. Our room was on the second floor at the front and the noise from the pub below wasnt noticeable. Only downside was the toilet design which was really wierd and uncomfortable to sit on and the shower went from hot to cold for some reason. Other than that really good and the location os hard to beat. We will definitely stay here again.

Best location ever, but there's no lift to the 3rd floor, that means you have to carry all your luggage through the stairs.

The staff was great, as was the location. Since the elevator only went to the first floor, taking the stairs to the upper floors with luggage was difficult, and would be very difficult for older, handicapped, or for people that are not that strong. Also, the shower never got hot. That was disappointing since my room stayed on the cooler side since you couldn’t set the thermostat past a certain degree.

Staff was outstanding, very helpful with booking cabs as needed, responsive to requests. Room was spacious enough for 3, bathroom clean and more than adequate, also spacious. Only complaint is the lack of seating beyond one desk chair and the beds.

The hotel is in a very centra location, and we loved that. The rooms are small—as expected but the space is well laid out. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are quiet. A great stay overall!
