We first showed up to what appeared to be creepy drug addicts walking around the hotel, hanging out. It’s not a TERRIBLE area but it’s definitely not good. The room we had smelled like mildew/old cigarettes. The hotel seemed as if it used to be a crap hole and someone put money into it doing updates. Probably painting over smoke tar covered walls. You can tell by looking at the ceiling which has fresh paint but the smoke detectors looked like they were covered in smoke tar. Then on top of that, our room had train tracks right outside. So at 11pm, 1am, and around 3am we had trains right outside our door traveling. You can only imagine how that sounded. Long story short, pay more for somewhere else. No way I would stay there again, even for free.

I liked the size & cleanliness of the room. My only concern was no curtains on the window but a shade. if your lights are on inside the room someone walking by could see inside (my guest & I tested). I also felt apprehensive sleeping because I could see the cars parked outside when all the lights were off in the room.

I had called to let them know I would be arriving around midnight. The lady was very nice and said she would note everything for me. I arrived around a little after 11. The room had 1 bed made which I’m not sure if it was clean bedding and had the other beds bedding on top of it which was dirty. It was late and I was tired so I went and informed the front desk and told them to figure it out while I went to get something to eat. She called while I was eating and said I had to go to a sister hotel due to the room not cleaned and stocked. No complaints about sister hotel other than them holding my card for 250$ for days. I had paid online for my original booking so I should not have an additional hold on my card. Even though hotel got me another room it was very inconvenient after driving over 6 hours.

It was adequate, not great. It is basic, fairly inexpensive for area, and served its purpose for us. Bedside power and charging station didn’t work, so one of us had to charge phone across the room. Breakfast sandwich, the only breakfast offering, was ok.

The property was clean and bed was comfortable. There were no drapes on the windows, just a thin shade and there was a bright electronic billboard across the parking lot that shined in the window all night always changing and lit up the room making it difficult to sleep well.
