Avoid Hiltons with resort fees

The daily destination charge is ridiculous. I have no idea what it's for, and it's taxed at the very high Chicago/Cook County/State of Illinois rate.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The staff were extremely nice and helpful! However, the rooms do show their age, the carpet in the room and wall paper do need to be redone especially in the bathroom since there wasn't a working vent. We aren't ones to complain but we probably should have had maintenance to our room to check on the HVAC since it was so hot you had to have the windows open all night. We aren't complainers though and I know this hotel would have had it taken care of because they were that helpful and nice. If I wanted to stay in the south loop again I would stay at this hotel even though it is not perfect.

No air conditioning or microwave in the room and only free WiFi in the lobby. Breakfast was only free for the first 100 people then it was around $30. Location is great and the beds were comfortable, and we loved the pool and jacuzzi. I would probably stay somewhere else though with free breakfast, WiFi, and a microwave!

The Chicago Hilton is perfectly situated for travelers, which walking access to Grant Park, the Red Bus stop right outside the hotel for a full sightseeing experience and proxmity to dining options. The staff was attentive, gracious and even allowed us to check in early after a long flight. The rooms are well maintained and clean and the hotel granted us $18 in laundry credits per day plus $10 in meal credits each day too. Outstanding service and attention to hotel guest needs. Highly recommend.

The rooms weren't as nice as you would think and our room was hotter than hell and we had to request our room to be cleaned but the hotel is really beautiful and the staff were great!
