Over booked and understaffed, got a call before arriving. ask if we would be willing to get an upgrade from two double beds to a king executive room, i was very clear I would do one of the two rooms but not both, as the other group with us were not husband and wife, we got there, and they gave our double away on both rooms. There was a pull-out sleeper in the room, and it look like the Salem Zoo rented it out for the elephant mating program, i would have touched the thing wearing a Tyvek suit. Then we checked in and they said we are short staffed, and we would have no room cleaning, and if we needed towels and wash cloths, we would need to get them, so when i went to get them i was told they had no clean ones and handed me the bathmat size for a washcloth. worst $1400 for three days i ever spent. In fairness to the staff that was there they tried the best they could.

Not a place where I would recommend
My dad and myself stayed in a king executive suite. It was so beat up! The sleeper sofa looked like it had been taken from a homeless encampment. The first morning there’d been some sort of incident involving police ems and forensic units two doors down.

Others times I’ve stayed have been great. This time I was on the second floor. Getting off of the elevator the smell was absolutely horrible. There was a dog that constantly barked the first night. Someone was yelling for the dog to stop barking. Then the two people were yelling at each other in the hall. The second night there was no dog but there were kids running up and down the hall at 11 at night. Kids will be kids. But the smell of unclean animals was absolutely disgusting. Also the smell of weed and cigarettes.

Not what I expected at this LA Quinta Hotel.
In room amenities appear to be working or not, linens & towels not replaced, only one small trash bin located in bathroom, and bulbs needing to be replace. I found no breakfast offering at establishment.

Hotel needs renovation.
Back entrance door inaccessible from outside due to the key access wasn’t working. All outside parking lot lights were not working. Main light in the bathroom burned out. Room curtains torn at corner. Paint on the other end of curtain. Overall needs a complete renovation.
