Location, Views, Summer Fun, Location
This Mountain Estate was halfway up the "Big Mountain" providing awesome views of the easily accessible Whitefish area including ropes courses, lifts, hiking trails, and more. We hiked Glacier National Park trails on several days in that you are less than an hour from the west entrance. As to the house itself our family loved the many living areas, the large kitchen with double SubZero refrigerators (not counting the garage fridge for all the beverages), 2 freezers (both with ice makers), two sinks (in the upstairs kitchen), two dishwashers, 2 awesome coffee bars with both regular 12 cup drip and Keurig coffee makers. The beds were comfortable and the 4 King bedrooms had ensuite baths. One of the King baths featured a "wet room" with both tub and shower. The enormous bunk room had two ensuite bathrooms. The laundry room has two large washers and two large dryers. Although not needed by us I noticed a pack n play with sheets furnished and stair gates for toddler safety. This home is about 15 minutes from downtown Whitefish which always has a bustle about it, especially during the Farmers' Market. Downtown Whitefish Lake not only is one of the most scenic lakes in the country but provides a public beach where the grands enjoyed kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, and boot thrusters. Of course all of us enjoyed eating on a picnic table from the large number of choices of food trucks. Summer days were in the 70s and nights in the 50s. You're right: Location ...!
