Property is currently under renovation therefore no proper lobby; although you pay for an upgrade to have a room with a ocean view it depends on which side they give you because some rooms get a partial view from the balcony, others are obstructed view by either a tree or building; I think they should upgrade their room and pictures depending on the type of room; obstructed views should cost less vs a good view; when I brought this up to the front desk they gave me a different room with a way better view, other things to note: the train is loud and comes quite often! Rooms have a musty smell! It’s as good as it gets in White Rock I guess! Positive is close to the beach but I wouldn’t stay here again!

The room and staff were OK. The hotel corridors were being refurbished (a bit of a surprise). The parking was fairly expensive and other reviews had said there was plenty of nearby street parking. They were all metered and not cheap. More information on parking would have been useful. The view we were give was not as good as we expected (perhaps our expectations were raised too high, after viewing the hotel website)

There was no microwave provided as there was a no way to warm up the food at all, when asked the staff they said its only for suites nothing for standard room, on top of thag we get charged for $99 additional for parking on arrival, however in the advertising nothing has been mentioned for parking, hell no we ended up paying more and the poor service is more then enough to spoil our vocation.
