The role m was fine. The check in n experience was terrible. Waited 30 minutes in line, finally checking in near to 5:30pm to fine our room was not ready. Went for a drink. Got a call 20 minutes later that room was ready and told not to stand in line but go to any station at desk. Line still 20 or more people and 8 at valet desk. Even though we explained ourselves to the people at front of check in line, we got glares and still waited another 15 minutes for a free agent.

There were no robes in the room upon arrival (it was mentioned), the robes were brought when called down to reception. But there was someone else's underwear in the room, and there was not much acknowledgment of that detail. It felt like maybe the room wasn't cleaned correctly and there was no attempt to justify the scenario. The room smelled quite musty, however, that may just be due to the age of the hotel. Thanks.

If it wasn't for the hot springs, we would never, ever stay here. The rooms are lower than your cheapest motel quality...without air conditioning. The windows are failing. There is no fan in the bathroom. I would caution you to bring slippers because the carpet is ancient and stained. The pictures from the past are creepy, ghost-like photography. There is no cable. The dresser is scuffed. The box spring and bed frame are full of dust. Some patch up has been done to the bathroom over the years due to necessity but the shower is ancient. Wiring in the closet is so ancient that it is probably not to code. It does not appear any of the trails or lights for them have been maintained since our last visit. The gate leading out appears broken and now a chain prevents access. I almost canceled our stay because of the recent article about the hotel damaging the natural hot springs "hobo hot springs", that is very wrong to destroy or prevent access to a natural resource. There are so many people accessing the pools now that it cannot be close to relaxing. I'm not sure we would stay here again and I feel sorry for those who would intend to book this as a honeymoon location.

Busy this time of the year but the staff kept a smile and holiday cheer. You may find a hair or two in the family pool with kids but it's almost expected. The adult and indoor pools are nicer.

There was not robes available when we checked in and I called and asked twice after two hours. The receptionist told me I don’t need them. She also told me that I could come get extra towels myself. Eventually she radioed and the items were delivered immediately. There was no need for me to have to keep asking. The website says 18+ for the adult pools but my 18 year old son was told he’s a child at check-in. Your information does not line up. A lot of people with drinks and cameras in the pools. It was very clean and comfortable. Beautiful decorations for Christmas. Very quiet as well.
