We have come to this resort many times but it seems to be getting less desirable to come. They kicked kids and teenagers out of the indoor pool last night. I can understand kicking them out of the indoor spa itself for the adults but not the pool. So if it rains hard, the kids must be swimming outside? That’s not family friendly. They also took a long time to provide pool towels and bath robes.

This was my second time staying here, and sadly, it was just as bad as the first. We gave it another chance because we love the area and the hot springs, but the resort desperately needs a full renovation. I booked through Expedia for my boyfriend’s birthday and used a breakfast voucher we’d received after our first poor experience. If it weren’t for a kind customer service representative (I wish I’d caught her name), we never would’ve gotten it. I had to call six times before our trip, and on the sixth call, she recognized my name and helped. When we arrived, we were given an awful room—mold in the lampshades, spider webs on the chandelier, stains everywhere, and a strong smell of urine. I called again, and thankfully, the same representative recognized my name and helped us switch rooms. The supervisor tried to charge us for the upgrade, but she got the fee waived. The new room was somewhat better but still dirty. There was rust in the shower, odd-smelling towels, stained floors, curtains, and sheets, a locked patio door, a broken TV, and no coffee restocked. We made the most of our stay, but it’s clear this resort needs major attention. Until they do a complete renovation, we won’t be returning. The fact that they try to charge $300+ a night per room is grossly unfair to the consumers. With what they charge, you think they would at least upgrade the furniture and clean the floors.

We were really looking forward to our stay, but unfortunately it was disappointing from the start. Check-in was supposed to be at 4 PM, but our room wasn’t ready until just after 6. The manager kept saying it wasn’t his fault, and while they offered a complimentary breakfast, it didn’t make up for the inconvenience. The hotel itself feels quite run down. Our room was missing the pool towels and robes that were advertised, so we had to use our shower towels at the hot springs. The breakfast we were offered was just okay — definitely not worth the $33 price tag they normally charge. The hot springs were supposed to be relaxing, but they had loud, awful music playing, which really took away from the experience. Overall, I expected much better for the price and reputation of this hotel.

The hotel was ancient and could use upgrades on beds, tv and plug ins. Hotel was clean but smelled musty. The walls were paper thin and we could hear the neighbours having a conversation from 10pm til 1am. I thought they were arguing at first but it was just the walls being so thin. Of course the location was awesome. Beautiful sights to see but I wouldn’t stay there again.

Very Disappointed. They put us on the floor the pets were on so the rugs in our room were dirty. The bathtub had stains in the bottom and the bed was extremely hard so did not sleep well at all. They gave us a balconey but it was right over the pools in the back so really not useable for us.
