We have come to this resort many times but it seems to be getting less desirable to come. They kicked kids and teenagers out of the indoor pool last night. I can understand kicking them out of the indoor spa itself for the adults but not the pool. So if it rains hard, the kids must be swimming outside? That’s not family friendly. They also took a long time to provide pool towels and bath robes.

Our room smelt. The front desk staff told us some wrong information and were not very nice. The line-ups were long at the front desk. There was no safe at the front desk for valuables or in the room. They were installing a new fire alarm system and the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night both nights that we stayed with no staff trained to know what to do or what was going on. There was no housekeeping. The dinner restaurant was closed but you could get food in the bar/ restaurant. The food was great there and the staff were very good. Tea and cookies were served in the dining room at 4 pm in the afternoon at no charge was very nice. We should have gotten some kind of discount or refund but no one at the front desk was apparently qualified to do that! Very disappointing stay.

Staff were friendly, pool was nice, rooms very outdated, food in the copper room very overpriced, food at the breakfast buffet was great. I heard they filled in the natural hot springs nearby which if that's true then awfully greedy people run this hotel. I'm sure you make enough money as it is with everything being so overpriced that you don't need to ruin natural hot springs...

It was a disappointment walking down the dirty halls to a dingy room. The tub was rusty, the towels smelled bad and weren’t even folded nicely, the beds were old, and the windows throughout the property were filthy. The hotel is very run down, though we did enjoy the thermal waters. We were celebrating my 45th birthday and had dinner at the Copper Restaurant. They asked if we were celebrating anything — which my husband had already noted on the reservation — yet nothing was done to acknowledge the occasion. It seemed odd that they asked multiple times but didn’t make any effort to make the evening special. There was even dog poop in the hallway, which we had to report to the front desk. Our key card kept deactivating, and we had to get it reset several times. There were no robes in our room, so we lost about an hour of spa time waiting for robes and repeatedly going down to ask for them. Our key didn’t work at the spa door either, and staff suggested it was because we had our phones near it — but we didn’t even have our phones with us. The staff tried to be helpful, but they seemed overworked and understaffed. Overall, it was a disappointing experience for what was supposed to be a relaxing and special getaway.

The robe wasn't in the room. I had to wait an hour to get the robe and go to the pool. Robe should be in the room! It was last time. The phone didn't work so I had to walk to front desk and wait in a line up to ask again for a robe.

Very disappointing stay. Check-in was chaotic — we arrived after 4 p.m. but our room wasn’t ready until 5:30. The key cards didn’t work because the room was switched without notice. No robes were provided, and after multiple trips to the front desk, we finally received them at 8:30 p.m.—just before the hot springs closed. Even breakfast the next morning was disorganized, with coffee arriving after we’d nearly finished eating. Poor management and communication throughout — not what you’d expect from a resort of this reputation.

Beautiful lake view, complementary high tea was a nice touch. Lots of parking. Front desk, staff friendly. Room was dingy needs an update. Carpets in the hotel need to be replaced old and badly stained. The pools were nice ranging from warm to very hot. Definitely a temperature for everybody. Personally, I feel the hotel is overpriced for what you get, but there’s nothing else in the area that offers a spa experience.
