We started coming to the resort about 33 years ago. Back then it was nice and cozy. Things have changed and in some cases not changed enough. Upon entering to check in, the check in counter used to be at the entrance and beyond the entrance was a large room with huge windows, a fireplace, comfy sofa and chairs...just a lovely plave to sit and read or watch the scenary. Now there is a small 'cafe' at the entrance with very overpriced tea/coffee, muffins and other small pastries to buy. The front desk has been moved into the large comfy room with the fireplace and it is no longer cozy, just the place you check in. There is no longer a cozy place to sit near a fireplace and look out at the scenary. The pool is lovely but needs some tile repairs. I booked a room for a bit more money that stated it was renovated, it had newer (stained) duvet covers and not the bedspreads from 30 years ago and maybe a new carpet but that was it, when I asked about this the gentleman at the front desk just chuckled and said oh and offered no explanation. The bathroom was probably original with peeling paint on the baseboard and door frames. Our sink was so badly clogged you couldnt run the water to do anything or the sink would fill up. The mini fridge just froze everything and is very old.The rechargining electronic situation is bleak, we had to unplug coffee makers and lamps to charge and use our electronics. The staff was very nice and polite though. The resort needs TLC to be nice again

Overall this property is very run down and poorly maintained. Rooms are very run down and in need of maintenance. The restaurant was okay but had a limited menu. Can’t say enough about the staff - very friendly.

Generally, the hotel room is great, clean, and the best advantages of staying here is walk to the pools. They provide robes and towels which is quite lovely and thoughtful. I am ok with a bit old amenities and limited options on site restaurants, but I think the resort really needs consider some more restrict rules for people in pool. It is unfortunate to see some behaviors in the pool that really adversely impact others enjoy the hot spring.

The room was clean and comfortable enough, however every room on the back had a private balcony except a handful. Our room was below ground level with a high window looking at a utility path with air conditioners, a stored ladder and concrete retaining wall!! Can’t express enough how disappointed we were for such a crap view. And we booked on a very non busy late October Sunday. The kids loved the pools and the view was beautiful but there were so many broken tiles. Not sure if we’d go again.

Our room was never cleaned in the Friday to Monday stay, nor was towels ever exchanged, even when we did they didnt bring them, so 4 hours later we requested again and took another hour. They dont have any towels for pool.
