Dinner was phenomenal at the Nook. Our room was 85 degrees and had no AC. Even opening the windows and doors and using the ceiling fan and standing fan provided it was too hot to sleep. Miserable!

Really overpriced. Paid $1,200 for a deluxe room with mountain view. The view was nice. But for that price was expecting more space and maybe some newer furniture. There is no AC, the room was very hot at night even with the windows open and 2 standing fans going. The furniture on the balcony wasn’t really comfortable either, it kinda seemed like cheap chairs from Canadian Tire. The grounds and view is really nice, but I can get a hotel in Canmore or Banff that is literally the same for a quarter of the price.

JPL - one of the best hotels in the world

This was a well-earned escape and JPL maintained it's reputation as the best hotel I've stayed at, world-wide. Every time I stay, it's magical. You do pay for the magic, but it's an experience to savour.

No ac on a 4 star property which is absolutely ridiculous!! This is peak summer in Jasper!! How can the property charge us 650 per night with such terrible conditions. I have had great experiences with Expedia but will not be staying at this property ever again

Our stay was over Canada Day. The Fairmont had special events & other touches to add to the celebration. So it was difficult to get reservations at the Fairmont’s smaller restaurants. The grounds are green & beautiful, however, there are fringes of forest that were destroyed by the 2024 forest.
View from our room.
This view is taken from a walking trail that is in the opposite side of the lake the Fairmont Lodge is on.
For easy charging access, the bed’s headboard has outlets on it! There is also a small reading light on the headboard too!

Pros: Beautiful scenery despite the fire devastation. The area around the lake is beautiful and the facilities have a rustic feel. The pool area is very nice. Cons: The rooms are outdated and need refurbishment. The main dining area has limited options and the food quality was not up to the Fairmont standard. Our meal was not great but it came with premium pricing. We had friends join us from the UK and they were also disappointed with the meal.

Disappointing Stay Despite Beautiful Location The resort is situated in a stunning location — the lake and the small island nearby are truly picturesque and serene. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. We paid a premium expecting a comfortable and well-maintained stay, but were extremely disappointed. The room we were given was in poor condition — low veiling, run-down, outdated, and far from what you'd expect for the price. It felt more like a cheap roadside motel than a resort or hotel. There was no air conditioning, which made our stay uncomfortable. Overall, the experience did not match the price or the promise. Would not recommend unless major renovations are made.

Don’t be fooled by the initial pictures. The lodge is beautiful, but the rooms are cabins far away. Also, the heat is stuck on and it was 78 degrees in the room despite being pleasant outside.

The location of the property is fantastic. Service , facilities are very poor. Rooms are cheap motel rooms with a rickety noisy indoor air conditioner and a 15 year old tv. Half the channels display 'no signal' This is NOT Faimont quality by a long shot.

Very good stay.

Very, very nice stay. Some of the amenities are a little dated, like the rough pool & jacuzzi, but really appreciated their availability. The setting is incredible. Staff is fantastic. Food & drinks very pricey. Breakfast buffet is overpriced for the choices available. Found ourselves driving into town for incredible meals for half the price.
