This place is a true gem! The restaurant had such an interesting menu (and the food itself was delicious), the service staff were all excellent, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and cozy. I know several reviews have critiqued the cost of the Lodge, but I respectfully disagree. The unique location and amenities (a float plane tour business is literally on-site) alone justify the cost. Next time I am travelling the Alaska Highway, I will make a point to stay a night or two again!

There needs to be directions on how to adjust the baseboard heater. Thankfully they were able to provide a fan. While the dining option was appreciated the cook was an angry person and could be heard yelling at staff. Choices were limited and to fancy for my simple tastes.

Very expensive and very few amenities. My room in the main lodge was very loud and not private, I could hear conversations in the hall and from the room next to me. I wish they at least offered coffee, tea, and water for guests. I didn't think this lodge was anywhere near worth the money and I would not stay here again.

My wife and I went at the beginning of March and it was -23 and snowing, so we didn't see much. But we went for a walk to the middle of the lake and soaked in the surroundings. Sarah and Ken, at the front desk, helped us immensely for a special occasion and made our stay very memorable. Thank you!!!
