"Good location, nice hotel, good staff, and the food that was available was also good"

"We had a 5 night stay here, the room was wonderful, spacious, clean and comfortable. Logistically it was in a great, close to the subway, a Trader Joe's, stores and plenty of restaurants. The housekeeping staff were helpful, but I scored it low as the bar was closed due to refurbishments, but was never mentioned on their webpage or when we checked in, it was only when I asked how to get to it I was informed! This is one of the reasons I chose this hotel as it has a bar!"

"Family of 3- room was exactly what we expected. Location was great! We love to utilize the subway and this hotel was close to 3 different transit lines which made it super easy for us to navigate and get anywhere we needed to be in Manhattan. Loved being able to walk to Staten Island Ferry, Wall Street, Battery Park, and loads of local eateries like Liberty Bagel and Tacombi. We loved being able to have somewhere safe to keep our luggage before we checked in and after check out so we could continue to explore NYC. All the staff were lovely and the hotel was impeccably clean."

"Not worth staying here. Place was very dated, flooring and carpets are in horrible shape, stained; the lobby furniture was dated and stained as well; the main entrance door glass was loaded with fingerprints and just grimy looking. There were no pillowcases on the pillows for one of our beds, no hand towels or hand soap in the bathroom—the minimum things most guests would expect. The thermostat can’t be adjusted at all to make the room cooler/warner; elevators are the slowest I’ve ever encountered at a hotel. WiFi was spotty. Not much in the way of staff-seems a bit of a skeleton crew. The staff that was there was pleasant enough. I would not stay here again though and definitely would not recommend. "

"Good location. If there would’ve been a small fridge, it would’ve been 5 stars. Bed was comfortable and AC was COLD! shampoo, conditioner and body wash in dispensers. Blankets on bed were also impressive. Hot chocolate at night. Coffee and tea with cookies in the morning. Microwave is in lobby. "
