It’s a very good hotel in a nice location with an easy walk to restaurants and downtown. Add another star if you have a dog. We liked the gym and the amenities and the staff were friendly and helpful

A fine location with nice rooms and helpful staff. The bar on the 15th floor has a nice view of the harbor and pretty good draft beer. Hampton Inn Portland Downtown - Waterfront
The breakfast was great, lots of good options. The parking was frustrating, I definitely did not look at the fact that there was only valet and that it was 40$ a night. Never having been to portland I had not realized the extent of paying to park in the area.
