Very friendly and polite staff. The room and property was clean. It was also very quiet, even though the hotel seemed busy. Breakfast was hot and stocked right up until the end.

This was a suitable stop on my roadtrip across the country. I was a little disappointed to be stopped during checkin only to be charged a hefty fee for having my pet with me. I disclosed the pet during the reservation process and was not told about any additional fee. I would have booked somewhere else had I known I would be forced to pay so much extra at the last minute. I'd been on the road for 12 hours through winter weather and was eager to get my cat out of the car.

We were on the first floor in the front corner of the hotel. The street intersection. It was very loud due to street noise. I would definitely request back opposite corner next time.

Hotel was located in a convenient location to everything. At check-in I ask if we could be located away from the highway because of the noise. She said yes, then when she handed us our keys she said she didn't have any rooms away from the highway. She put us on 1st floor, 2nd room from the highway. We heard early morning traffic and alot if walking on the room above us!

Sound Quality

The hotel is newer or updated. Check-in was easy and quick. The room size was okay for an overnight stay; however, there were loud cars speeding up and down Glenstone and Kearney all night long. It sounded like a 4 cylinder drag race from 9:30pm - 5am. We stayed a Saturday night and later learned that's a common occurrence in that area on Friday and Saturday nights. The hotel could definitely use better sound proofing. I would not stay again, as I got no sleep.

Another nice stay at Fairfield Inn & Suites. This is the second year in a row we have stayed after attending a Springfiled Redbird baseball game. Hotel is always clean and quiet, even though they were busy. Our grandchildren love staying here.
