Booked a stay with my dogs last week when the policy on the site still stated that the hotel was pet-friendly (I notice that policy has now been updated to show "service animals only"). The check-in process was a little convoluted but managed to figured it out. The property manager asked for my ID over text and only then did they let me know that dogs were not allowed. Had to cancel on the spot -- because I'm not going to try to hide the fact that I have dogs with me -- and they said they would issue a refund to my card since they had already charged it.
Five days later and no refund, even after reaching out several times -- nobody has made any attempt to contact me to explain the situation or try to make it right. They have gone completely dark. It seems they are just taking my money without providing the service, so I have had to resort to filing a dispute with my bank to get my money back.
Very disappointing, very poor customer service. Will not stay here even if I don't bring my dogs next time, because who knows what other policies they have incorrect on partner sites such as Travelocity?
