We choose the Drury Plaza whenever we travel to Columbia. The rooms are clean. The staff are friendly, and the breakfast is good. It is always a good experience. The new restaurant is nice as well.

We stayed on Christmas eve night because my spouse works at the nearby hospital usually the nightshift. But this time worked Christmas eve evening then Christmas day afternoon. So, we didn't really have much of a normal Christmas. When I found out he was getting off an hour early, 11pm. We realized we get to have a drink at the bar before it closes at midnight! But when I went down there to ask if they were open... The bartender replied... "I guess!?!" Then a guy at the bar with a pizza gave me up & down look & was shaking his head like I couldn't see the back of his head right in front me. Then the cook comes out with the lights off & they're all looking at other, rolling their eyes, doing weird faces to each other, as if I couldn't see them.. anyway we just went back up to the room after my spouse had the 1 drink; it was very uncomfortable & awkward. I felt too uncomfortable to order anything. She could have made some good money, my husband is a great tipper, especially on Christmas. But since she was so inconvenienced by our presence, she made $1 tip. The rest of the stay & staff were all very friendly & helpful. We were trying to make the best of Christmas in a hotel but the bar staff & friend (or a clocked out employee w. A pizza?) made us feel like we were keeping them from going home on Christmas. I probably won't stay there on Christmas again.

Hands down best hotel I’ve ever stayed in …. Front desk check-in was amazing to the amazing fitness center pool spa room was very clean and they are pet friendly.! They feed you dinner. They feed you breakfast and they hand you three free drink card. Food was amazing. Can’t wait for breakfast in the morning.
