Not our usual experience

We got there at 2:35 PM; there were no cars in the parking lot. But they would not let us check in until 3 unless we paid a penalty of $50. So we waited and came back 25 minutes later. The person that greeted us then was so much friendlier and kind… We also had NO INTERNET as advertised. Trying to work remotely was an extreme challenge. We selected this hotel because it offered WiFi, but it was not working. Very disappointing. We have stayed here before and would like to stay here again, but this was not a good experience…

Extremely nice stay!!

Right from the get go we knew this would be a good stay. The deck clerk was very friendly and informed us as to where the nice restaurants were. The room was very clean and the whole place had obviously undergone a major refurb quite recently. The room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast had something for everyone and the juice and coffee were fresh and good quality. We would come back any time and recommend to our friends.

All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. It was being remodeled downstairs so there were building supplies stacked up but it was out of the flow of traffic. They need to remodel the rooms next as the walls were cracking and the floor is lumpy. But it was clean and the beds comfy.
