"Hotel in Great location and rooms and amenities first class, what does let it down is the food in the bar & restaurant, very expensive for what it is, and always seemed a long wait for main course to be served, Also when we where there the power went off late at night with lights turning on and off several times but next morning, no apologies or any type of explanation. "Outside is not much to look at but the interior is quite modern with a "boat house" feel to the restaurant. Room not the most spacious but adequate. Breakfast was excellent with wide buffet choice and good quality. Spa/ swimming pool is very good. Over priced for the level of accommodation but the Lakes location contributes to the pricing."

"Not so great bits - Considering the high price of the room, the room we were allocated was very small in comparison to the other rooms The English breakfast was sadly tasteless and we felt we were an inconvenience to the breakfast staff when waiting to be seated and ordering toast etc Parking is not on site (tight to enter and keypad is very low) charged at £25 per stay and only valid for 1 hour after checkout Good bits - great central location, room and bathroom was well equipped, maintained and very clean, the lounge area has lovely views across the lake"
