2nd time stayed here and had the same lovely room. Stayed in dog friendly room no. 1 with lovely huge bay window overlooking Loughrigg. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Looked after our dog with lovely sausages. Great location for hiking and bars/shops/restaurants and very good price. Great atmosphere in the bar area and lovely breakfast. Payable car park not far from accommodation.

The room was clean and the breakfast was good The only issue was the stairs to the room as our room was on the 3 floors there were a lot of stairs to climb and we both OAP which was very tiring. On the hold it was a good experience but we would not stay again due to the stairs.
