Stay okay
Room was good enough for my short break. It was bit awkward to not leave dog on its own in room when you moving your stuff in or out or going for breakfast as well. Breakfast was good and waitress very friendly. Service at front desk on arrival was great. Gave me direction were i needed to go. On the next day i asked for direction to the shop lady on front desk and she wasnt really helpfull. Nice bar next to hotel and pet friendly. Car park not free...need to pay 6£ each night you staying....

The property was good value for the price but very dated. Hated the shower curtain in the bathroom and the electricians tape around the heated towel rail. The Hotel is not located where the map on Expedia shows you it is located in Windermere not Bowness and is 1.4 miles from the centre of Bowness up a very steep hill

Booked a dog friendly room and turned up late at night to be told there wasn’t one available. Luckily they allowed me to stay in a none dog friendly room. Hotel was very dated, there was a respirator/ face mask and plunger outside my room when I got to it. I’m guessing the previous guest may have left a mess. Every floor board seems to squeak, the whole place is dated and tired. Breakfast was cold, the bacon looked boiled and fried eggs were rock solid. I was only there for one night on my way through, but would neither rush back, nor recommend it.

Nice stay, good value and great location
Very conveniently located hotel with extremely friendly staff and fairly comfortable rooms. The hotel is no-frills and a bit dated in some ways, but it's good for the price. Our standard room had a lovely view and the staff were wonderful. Would stay again!

The staff was so gracious and held my luggage so I could explore the town and Bowness on Windermere before checkin. Room is quite small but perfect for exploring the town. The breakfast was wonderful. A bit tricky for one traveling by train.
