The room was really nice and the staff were attentive. The only downside was the location of the hotel being so close to high amounts of crime and homelessness, but there was always a security guard at the door.

Don’t let the Waterworks fixtures fool you. The Timbri is among a crop of over-designed hotels with little substance. The bed was terrible, the built in sofa in my room was *covered* in stains, the phone didn’t work. I shared this feedback at checkout and they waived my resort fee as a courtesy but it hardly makes up for 4 nights of awful sleep. As for the area, I wouldn’t recommend staying in this part of town to anyone who finds drug use, homelessness, or mental illness upsetting or unsafe. The staff do their best to keep the outside clean but the smell of urine is pretty bad at times. Shout out to Kerry on the security team. He was kind, funny, and super friendly. They’re lucky to have him!

The room was really nice and loved the rooftop bar, but the location was SO sketchy I was scared to even walk one block from the hotel. Normally I walk everywhere but ended up taking ubers. Wouldn't recommend for women travelling alone unfortunately

There were no rooms yet i was charged for a room and had reservation so was told i had no way to get rm for the night and also it took me standing there waiting for an hour before the front desk person even acknowledged me. If it was my hotel id fire every front desk person that was there that night. The hotel itself is very nice though. Just needs better more organized workers
