When I arrived they asked for my credit card to hold against the room, which I the norm. I have traveled the world, I am from California and I have stayed at hundreds of hotels worldwide. When we checked out , I tidied up the room as I usually do, put used towels in a corner to be thoughtful of the maids job shut door checked out. I recieved a goodbye and off I went When I get home I see charges totaling 255.00 I filed a claim with bank and called hotel again. The manager spoke with me, told me I got the towels dirty scratched the table and got makeup on the floor. None of this is true. She told me she had photos. I told her well they aren’t my photos because I leave rooms nice and towels should be cleaned and bleached anyway after removal. I told her I would report her to the BBB , Travelocity and others for her dishonesty. Shame on her for trying to recoup the great deal I got on travelocity, by saying I damaged a room. I feel insulted and robed. So if you are going to stay here , you need to photograph the room or have a walk through, and wash your own towels before your leave, if you don’t want to go through all that , and you certainly shouldn’t have to, stay at a reptaubale well known hotel. Shame on mansion on Sutter, I expected more of you.
