"A taste of Japan "
The hotel is plain on the outside and sublime on the inside. The public areas are well appointed and serve their purposes well. The rooms are charming. The Japanese accents carry the flavor of Japan and are designed for comfort. The Japanese tubs and shower in the bathroom are also appreciated when staying in the area. The staff are generous and kind. The spa is a wonderful treat and the movie theater make the combination a unique and memorable experience.i love the location. You get the convenience without the massive tourist crowds. It is a neighborhood of families and friends.

"Great stay at a centrally located hotel"
Villa Florence is a beautiful hotel just off of Union Square. The room was comfortable and spacious with a high quality mattress and linens. The location couldn't be more perfect to access all forms of public transportation (cable cars, BART, trams, buses). You're right in the middle of the action, yet away from the craziness of Fisherman's Wharf. Great place to stay !!

"Beautiful, classy old hotel atop Nobb Hill."
We had a city view from the 9th floor and the room was large with high ceilings and large windows. Service was excellent, the staff very polite (from the bellman to the concierge) and helpful. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel if you are going to be in San Francisco.
