"AMAZING! This was 1 day of a 2-week journey. Many different hotels, beds, breakfasts, staff, etc. By far this was the most comfortable bed. Very friendly staff and good breakfast, with made to order omelets. I do have one big regret, we didn't spend enough time here. This should be a destination, not just a pass through. Although, it was for us a very nice pass through. This is a place that I would highly recommend. "

"We’ve stayed at the Holbrooke Hotel many times while visiting family in grass valley. The building itself is charming with a lot of character and the rooms simple, clean, and elegant. The bar is stand out with always excellent cocktails (check out whatever cocktail is on draft) but the food is the best in the area. You’re also on the heart of the few blocks that make up downtown grass valley. "

"The guy at the desk, Sebastian, was super helpful and friendly. The room was very nice (but the carpet needs shampooing). The pool & spa were great. Breakfast got boring because it never changed in three days."
