"Most beautiful hotel with the most amazing staff! Loved the female manager who was working outside and all of the girls. They worked their buns off and even though they were short staffed and faced many adversities, just normal things happening, they were incredible and worked fast and hard. Their manager kept everyone working in conjunction with each other to keep operations moving smoothly even with all that was happening! I will absolutely come back time and time again ;)"

"My mom and I were going on a cruise and spent the night in Galveston. We chose The 1890 Freeman House because it looked beautiful and unique. We were not disappointed! The house is beautiful. It's filled with antiques that keep the charm of an old Victorian House, but it still has all of the modern conveniences (fast Wifi, televisions in the room, fully equipped kitchen, etc.). The owner is not on property but great at communication. She emailed and texted while we were there to make sure that everything was going smoothly. Check in and check out was super simple. Besides, the house being beautiful, the location was perfect! It's in a neighborhood full of historic Victorian houses, and it's walking distance to: downtown, the Strand district, and the seawall. I would definitely stay there again!"
