Good not Great

While the owner was very responsive, we ran into several issues during our stay that made it not as great as it could have been. Pool heater was not working, which we were aware of prior to our arrival. The pool and jacuzzi were dirty although the owner did send someone out to clean once we contacted her. The backyard had sprinklers running often, so the grass was often wet and soggy so kids couldn't play as much as they had hoped. The back yard was the main reason we booked this property, we just couldn't enjoy it as much as we had hoped. The house was clean and is very spacious with lots of space and comfortable beds. The office area was nice if you need to do some work or make calls during your stay.

A bit disappointing

Upon entering the property the alarm went off and scared us all. That was a bit stressful and not super welcoming. There is a large barn structure and piles of junk behind the pool, which isn't shown in the photos. The biggest disappointment was that the jacuzzi was only usable for one of the days of our stay. It wasn't discovered until the day of our arrival that it wasn't working. I think that could have been avoided with checking it sooner. The instructions would be easier to follow with photos. The owner was quick to reply to texts and the house is in a nice neighborhood and was easy to find. It has 2 driveways which was nice because we had multiple vehicles. It was also nice there was no set limit on the A/C. The last place we stayed we couldn't turn it down lower than 75 and it was too warm. The firepit is huge! Could seat a lot of people around it. They provided floaties for the pool which was nice. Overall it was OK, but because of the jacuzzi issue I can't rate it 5 stars...that was a big deal of us and all of our guests.

Our stay in Glendale

The house was very spacious and accommodated my family. The pool area was very nice, relaxing and inviting. The information for the WiFi was not listed in the guest book and it took 2 days for us to get the correct one via email. The pilot light on the oven was out and had to keep getting relit in order for us to cook. The very back bedroom pillow cases had hair on them so we ended up washing the entire bedding. Overall the stay was enjoyable.

Top Notch Stay!

Mechanics – Check in a breeze. Ample parking. Good location. Clean Home. Comfortable Bedrooms. Well Appointed. Close To Stores. Home – Wonderful layout. The kitchen is very well stocked. I’m a former restaurant owner and a foodie. I bring my own cooking utensils and spices when I travel. Neither were really needed at this location as it was all there! The appliances are very nice and the outdoor kitchen is absolutely perfect. If you know how to run a high mass flat top griddle you will love this one! BBQ new and even cooking surface. The pictures of the back yard describe the amazing oasis you are about to experience perfectly! Pool was chilly which is typical for this time of the year in AZ for unheated pools. The slide was super fun (wear shorts) and the waterfalls an awesome audible feature for feeling like you are in a tropical oasis. Owners – Fantastic communication and wonderfully understanding owners. We had an unforeseen major mechanical challenge to deal with on our stay and they took care of it in no time. They completely understood our needs and actions. Would stay here again without hesitation.
