Scottsdale Parkview Resort is a comfortable place to stay. The rooms are clean, the sheets are fresh as well as the towels. The refrigerator, microwave and larger flat screen are clean and working. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Not too many issues , but the one that we had was the remote to the TV I don’t honestly think went to the TV and when I went to the front desk and never got handled. Also on top of it, the dresser on the side by the bed the only one they have was disconnected from the wall. I tried several times to move the bed. I was unsuccessful, so I told the front desk but again that was something that was not handled. What we did love about it is that it has a huge Jacuzzi tub inside of the room and it’s fantastic just to turn that on fill it up but the Jets hit your back and just watch TV and relax that part. I do love about it the most! I would still go back and stay again. It’s just a little things they need to get adjusted.

Broken tub plug, broken toilet paper holder, stool spots on toilet paper, freezer completely iced up. ONE TOWEL, no pool towels. I've never stayed at a poorer hotel. And that includes Motel 1. And it wasn't cheap like motel 1,2 or whatever. I won't be back. Expedia should be ashamed.

I don't usually give poor reviews, but I booked this hotel based on Expedia's rating of 8+. This reflects poorly on Expedia's rating system and in my confidence of booking through Expedia in the future. There was trash and cigarette butts in the parking lot. The landscaping had not been maintained. The common areas had not been mowed. Weeds were over a foot tall and dead shrubbery in planters. My room's door was misaligned leaving an inch gap with daylight flooding into my room. On the night I stayed there was no hot water. I was offered a refund, but I was not familiar with the area and had no other arrangements, so I had to tough it out for one night. I was told that because I booked through Expedia, I would not be given a discount on the room even though there was no hot water, Overall, the hotel was dirty (trash in the waste basket from previous guest) unkept, poorly lit and poorly maintained grounds, no hot water, and I did not feel safe.
Ladder was blocking access to room at night. It was in the opening at the top. I had to maneuver around it to get to my room.
Dead shrubbery with weeds growing in the planter
Cigarettes all over the parking lot and common areas. Some were old and faded, some were recent.
About an inch gap at my room door.
