"Nice room but Ugh! "
The bathroom counter wasn't clean, there was some kind of gel smear in several places and the duvet cover had a stain that appeared to be pizza sauce or something, same for one of the pillow cases. This is my third or fourth visit and this was the first time I wasn't totally pleased with the room. Gave it excellent before.

"Nothing expectacular"
I stayed a week at this hotel during a recent conference. The hotel is clean but needs updating, and could use more handicapped access. There were a substantial number of people staying at the hotel, but they were not prepared to handle it, or did not have enough staff. At the restaurant we ordered lunch and waited two hours before being served, which made us late to return to conference. This hotel has potential but needs to keep up with times, and provide sufficient staff during busy times.

"Copperwynd weekend getaway"
We rolled the dice booking this property after reviewing countless online reviews. Resort is located well away from any entertainment districts and requires a drive to just about anywhere. Fountain hills 10 min Scottsdale old town 30 Sedona 2 hours Location very quiet. So if you are looking for quiet golf tennis and pure r and r this is the place. Restaurant and bar close at 9pm which was our only complaint. We went out for dinner a couple of times and it would be nice to have an open bar for a nightcap. Front desk, spa, tennis pro, pool and wait staff were friendly and helpful. The only staff member who in our groups opinion needs to change his attitude or find employment elsewhere is the male fairly tall hipster bartender who was ticked off that we opted to sit outside for drinks vs sitting at bar. We watched and listened to him has he bitched w volume to hostess about having to leave the bar and walk all the way outside (30 steps max) to serve us. When Taking our order he was visibly irritated and stormed off when the girls asked for a wine list. It is important to note we were the only customers as it was about 2pm on a Thursday. Management needs to make a change here. This was our only issue. Rest of stay was excellent and would recommend. Thankfully he handed us off to another server and it was clear sailing go forward. It should be noted that we did not eat dinner at the resort but breakfast lunch and happy hour apps were very good and reasonable.

"Pleasant times on the pool patio"
A friend and I stayed for a week at the Day's Hotel and enjoyed it very much. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and the room (and bed) is comfortable. The hotel is nicely updated and the landscaping is attractive. I loved seeing blossoms and interesting plants. We enjoyed reading by the pool on the large patio. There was plenty of sun as well as shade. The location was good for us as we could access downtown Mesa and the museums easily as well as get on Hwy 60 without any problems.
