The location is great - close to busses and metro, restaurants very close, a supermarket around the corner. We enjoyed the fridge and used the microwave. The beds were super comfortable. One challenge was the temperature of the room. As we were unsuccessful in turned down the thermostat, the asked at the front desk if they would do it. They said they would send a technician. We asked 3 different times and still the room was to warm. Thankfully we would open the window. We stayed 9 nights so our room was cleaned every 3 days. Luckily there was a housekeeping lady on the floor in the morning so we could get toilet paper... as it was not replenished. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and we would come again!

The hotel is located very close to the famous department stores and is very convenient for shopping. Less than 5 mins walk takes you to metro stations, so you could easily go many tourist spots by metro.

Frankly the location is great but the service is very bad. That do not make cleaning every day. You must ask towels, toilet paper and soap if not they don’t give you. They promise clean and only clean 1 times in 7 days.

The staff here are absolutely amazing, so friendly and helpful, and the location is really good too. Unfortunately, the rooms let the experience down a bit. Our first night was awful; we stayed in a one-bedroom apartment with a sofa bed, which was extremely old and noisy. Every tiny movement made a sound, so we barely slept. The staff were great and moved us the next day, but the only option was two separate studio rooms, which was disappointing as the trip was for my daughter’s birthday. The photos on Expedia aren’t accurate or realistic at all. The rooms are much more basic and outdated in reality, with no view. If you do book, I’d definitely recommend choosing the Parisian rooms, as we found out while we were there that these are the newer and much nicer ones.

Poor service and disappointing stay We stayed at Residhome Opéra for 4 nights (1+3), but unfortunately the service and experience were very disappointing. At check-in(9/17/25 Afternoon), although we had requested two twin beds, we were given a double bed. When we raised the issue, the reception staff (Woman and another male colleague) said there were no available rooms and told us to email the manager, without offering any apology. The male staff member even replied “I don’t have a name” when we asked, and made an unnecessary comment about our previous trip to Amsterdam. The next day, we were told it might be possible to change rooms, but the communication among staff was very poor. Even though we confirmed with the night shift that we would stay in the same room, the receptionist later claimed she had tried to reach us to move us. Throughout our stay, she repeatedly avoided eye contact and never greeted us, which made the experience even more uncomfortable. Besides the service, the facilities were outdated: very poor soundproofing, an unstable shower head, and constant street noise all night. And there was some dust on the side table even after cleaning. Overall, the lack of professionalism at the reception, combined with subpar facilities, made this one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had.

The location of Resihome Opera Paris is excellent and very convenient for transportation. However, the service and housekeeping were unacceptable throughout our 8-night stay. For two consecutive days, our room was not cleaned, even though we never placed a “Do Not Disturb” sign. When I reminded reception in the morning, the room was still not serviced, and staff kept insisting that we had used the sign, which was not true. When the cleaning manager finally came, replenishment was incomplete — first bedding without towels, then towels without tissues, and even soap was not replaced. Trash was also left inside the room. Later, the situation became even worse: on the one day we actually hung a “Do Not Disturb” sign, housekeeping still entered and cleaned the room without permission. This is both unprofessional and a violation of guest privacy. The hotel later claimed it operates as an “apartment” with limited cleaning, but this was never communicated to us during booking or at check-in. On Thursday, which was supposedly their scheduled cleaning day, we had already requested service in the morning (without using the sign), but still no one came. Great location, but poor communication, repeated housekeeping failures, and inconsistent service make this hotel very disappointing. Also, the equipment and conditions of the room is not as nice as it seems on the pictures.

When we try to check in for 6 rooms for our party of 14. We reserved three apartments (executive duplex) ,two studios and one Family bedroom (for 4 peoples) Altogether 6 rooms. But all of a sudden Ghani (male staff) told me the rooms are not available for all 6rooms. Ghani at the check in counter is keep lying to us about the room is not available. We asked to talk to the manager. Ghani said i am the manager. But he was not the manager. Almost an hour of arguing with him, finally, we met the one female staff. She apologized and we got the rooms what we reserved. Later the real manager quietly appeared because of the argument. Ghani tried to fool us and he even used word “stupid”and didn’t even apologize. Our group (14 of us) was so tired of waiting and got so mad about the hotel treated us. He (Ghani) never apologized. Because of our 1st stop at Paris was your hotel. You ruined our 1st day expectation of Paris. We definitely not recommend your property.

HVAC broken, hot rooms, very inconvenient and uncomfortable 4-day stay! We slept on a studio room with one bed for 3 people! I'm very disappointed to Fatima and Sofia who promised me a refund for downgrading my reservation from a family room to a studio! I prepaid for this reservation 2 months ahead & was promised to be refunded, but it's been almost 2 weeks and I'm just getting a runaround of my refund. Unfair and unacceptable!! I need my refund ASAP!
