The hotel was nice for the most part. It was very dated. The rooms all need new carpeting, they are very old and stained. There was some damage to the walls in the hallways as well. The staff was nice and helpful and the beds were comfortable. A/c was very good as well. Overall the hotel just needs a facelift.

Perf location, comfy bed, but broken jetted tub

Superb location, right across the street from the metro station as well as the catacombs with a great price point for Paris. It's gonna cost like $300 more per night to get the same sort of deal near the Eiffel tower for instance. But if you’re right next to a train station, it doesn't matter bc you can get to Eiffel or Notre Dame or the Louvre within 20 min with very little walking. As for the hotel itself- very comfortable bed, interesting bathroom with quirky built in hair dryer that only has 1 temp control which i guess is more eco friendly but not great if you have a ton of hair like i do.. the biggest issue was that they had a really nice looking jetted tub that i was looking forward to using and so one day i got back a little early from my outing to have a "spa day". I filled up the tub and tried to turn on the jets but it wouldn't work! I asked my friend to go downstairs to ask the front desk if there was something we were doing wrong or what and they told him that the tub just doesn't work in our room (or maybe the whole floor? Idk i wasn't there) and that they knew about it before and didn’t tell us. At the very least if i knew about it in advance, I'd either have asked for a different room or wouldn't have gotten my heart set on a spa day. All in all, it was very minimal and the only issue i had with the place. Would I stay there again? Sure, if the price is right - I just wouldn't get excited about the jetted tub.

The high price is not warranted by what you get. The pictures are very deceptive of what the hotel really is like. Plastic glasses in room, wood coffee stirrers. One instant coffee, sugar, & mini milk per person. Greeting by front desk with an attitude. Argued over the breakfast, I was under impression it was included and was told to take it up with Expedia. They were nice enough to store our luggage as we arrived early.

A very reliable and perfectly situated hotel.

This is a perfectly situated hotel where you have access to pretty much everything you would need as a tourist. You have the Denfert-Rochereau train/metro stop directly across from the hotel, where you have access to the RER B train to and from the CDG airport. You also have the metro 6 line that takes you directly to the eiffel tower and other major tourist places. There are plenty of great cafés and restaurants right beside and around the hotel, with also several mini supermarkets all within walking distance. I recommend going to the Paul bakery for breakfast, they do a great latte and hot chocolate! I also definitely do recommend having a small wander around the area of the hotel to check these places out! All the receptionists were super friendly and helpful. The hotel room was very clean with very comfortable beds, probably the most comfortable hotel bed I've slept in a while. The bathroom was very clean as well and spacious. In general, the hotel room has all the basic needs you would want. If you're just looking for a reliable and clean hotel room with a comfortable bed to sleep in, and you're not extremely particular or picky, then I couldn't recommend a better place. I will definitely return here in the future!
