The rooms were tiny (although I had paid for an upgraded room. But this is typical of Parisian hotels anyway. The odd request came on check-in. We were asked for a €300 / room security deposit - on top of a full prepayment of the rooms. The reason given is to be used in case we damage any part of the room. It felt like we were checking into a hostel rather than a 3-star hotel.
