"Small hotel near downtown Palm Springs"
Our stay was for one night. The hotel is well kept and clean and caters to guests who are over 18. The entrance is on Indian Canyon Road not from the parking lot. Our room was in the court on the first floor next to the breakfast bar which is also used for a 530 PM to 630 PM social gathering. The hours for breakfast, 830 to 1030 AM, did not interfere with our night's sleep. We did have a small private patio, however, it was very noisy from street traffic and our A/C unit.

"Relaxing Stay! We'll be back!"
My wife found Colony Palms on Travelocity. We were looking for a quick getaway with our kids and Palm Springs is one of our favorite places to go. The Colony Palms feels like a secret resort instead of a bland hotel. Very beautiful, classy look and VERY clean. The staff are very friendly too. The food is outstanding as well as the pool and spa. We had 4 people (2 adults 2 kids). The room was a little small but we managed. The only thing that bothered me was the lack of communication between my online request and the first room we were given. I requested a double bed online at Travelocity along with a bath in the room. However, when we arrived a 4pm for check in, we were given a single bed, no bath. I requested a double bed but housekeeping wasn't ready. We waited in front of the new, double bed room for one hour and the room was cleaned and ready all along (!) There was an apparent miscommunication between the front desk and housekeeping. I would also like to recommend that the staff be a little more generous and offer an upgrade when these things happen. I requested an upgrade but got denied, even though the hotel clearly had plenty of vacancies. Aside from this glitch, my family and I really enjoyed our stay here. Plenty of peace and quiet :)

"Very Cute! We plan to come back w/ friends!"
We really enjoyed our stay at the Triada Palm Springs! This was our first visit to Palm Springs and really enjoyed our selves. It was an anniversary trip, so we left the kids at home and were happy to enjoy the pool with all adults, i read reviews saying not exactly kid friendly. Which was perfectly okay with us, we did notice that they allow dogs and thought that was nice. The service and organic food at the hotel was so GOOD! Oh and we loved the LOCATION :) one block from downtown, So convenient! The hotel has beautiful villas and we plan to come back with your family reserve a large villas. The price for our 4 days stay, which included hot delicious breakfast every morning, and valet parking was so REASONABLE PRICED! I was even over charged and they refunded my credit card no problem. Service is great. Our only complaint was our room had a strong paint or chemical smell when it was locked up while we ventured around town, every time we came back to the room we would have to open the windows and air it out. Something that wasn't a big deal to us cause we run into this a lot of trips was the bed was a little firm :-/ but we have a very plush bed at home and like i said run into this when we vacation. Other we were very happy with our stay and they left a great impression for our First trip to Palm Springs!

This is an incredible little gem of a hotel. It's gorgeously designed, very clean, intimate, and relaxing. The staff was exceptional. It's in a higher price range, but worth the investment. We will definitely return. Perfect couple's escape.

"THE place to stay in Palm Springs"
What a fun memorable place to stay! The hotel is small-only 10 rooms or so, and is the best value for the money I've EVER spent. Homemade treats are waiting on your arrival, and are replenished each day. The home cooked breakfast (fruit smoothie, fruit, and then savory) will keep you going through lunch. Tables are set for your party, so you don't feel obligated to talk with others if you're not a morning person, yet close enough to converse if you want. The rooms are centered around the pool, giving it a nice cozy feeling. We stayed in the Crooners room, and loved the photos of the singing icons of yester year. The bed linens were super soft, bed and pillows wonderful. The mini frig is stocked with complimentary soft drinks and water-where else can you get that? It's evident the GM loves his job, and is available all day for recommendations (which we took and were never disappointed) Happy hour consists of a cool frozen beverage and beautiful plate of snacks hand delivered to your party by the pool. I can't say enough good things about this place. The pricing can't be beat. Go-you won't be disappointed.

Every time I book a hotel room using travelocity, I get the worst hotel room that's located away from the pool and on the highest floor, even though there is a lot of space available.
