The host was great and got us the information in a timely manner. Overall, our experience was positive although the home had a few things that could have been better. The floor in the kitchen, dining, and living room areas were quite dirty. Someone had taken out the trash, and it must have leaked because there was a sticky substance on the floor by the trash can that had been tracked around and not cleaned up. It made all our feet and socks quite dirty. Regarding the beds, the master bedroom mattress seemed to be the hardest one in the whole place. After one night on it we ended up buying a king-sized mattress pad so we could sleep. The pool was warm even though it was cold outside, which was very nice, and once we figured out how to turn on and heat the hot tub, we were able to use it as well. Better directions as to where and how to use the timer switch for the hot tub would have been nice. The home had a fair number of cups, plates, pans, and utensils, although not many. The home did not have any extra (beyond maybe one or two) rolls of toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, dish soap, or laundry soap. We have stayed in numerous properties and this home had the barest minimums compared to others. There was not salt or pepper for example. Other than a few minor items, this was a great place and accommodated our six-member family well.
