The host was very accommodating and welcoming. There was fresh brewed herbal tea waiting for us upon arrival. The property was very nice overall. It seemed like a safe area. Bring earplugs and an eyemask if you want to sleep. Floodlights shine through the curtainless windows and traffic noise is constant.

worse experience ever

Walking in the house the floor had carpet and tape around it. Once you stepping in it and you feel there was a whole in the floor. Then my daughter showered upstairs and the pipes flooded sewage downstairs. We called and called the owner NO ANSWER! After 2 hours of calling i called VRBO. They called the owner and now answer. I waited for over 3 hours before they told me to go back get my stuff. We had to find some where for my family to stay after 10:30 at night because my son had a basketball game at 9:00 am. I believe VRBO should give us 2 free nights just for the health and safety issues tht was presented to our family.

Slightly disappointed

Overall the trip and stay was kool. Altho theowner need to have the home cleaned thoroughly. I am from nola so i undwrtsnad old nola houses..but at the very least it should ha e been deep cleaned. The floor caved in while we were exiting to go out. My son almost twistes his ankle. Also PLEASE NOTE there arent any tvs in the home. This was a major downfall especially with young cjildren.And that should have been losted in the description. The floors ere buckling maybe due to water idk but the beds were comfy. Overall pissed abt paying the price and the place wasnt deel cleaned. The jacuzzi was dirty. Their were cobb webbs.. beautiful old jome has ALOT OF POTENTOAL. hoping they can get it together.
