Quiet and comfortable

Pros: Close to Bourbon Street. Quiet.
Cons: Wood floors are hard to clean. Sweeping doesn't get them clean. Vacuum would be better.
Location: Awesome Irish Pub one block away. Local place. Not one of the big commercial places like Bourbon St. Being on St. Peter's Street is perfect.
Not the place to go if you are high maintenance. Nice place. On the down side... There is no parking. Closest is about 4 blocks away.

Perfect location

Close enough to have fun on Bourbon Street, but far away enough to get a good night's sleep.

The hotel was close to everything, only thing was one day the maid made the bed with dirty sheets and didn't replenish the soap.

Great hotel, close to everything!

Great location close to everything but far enough away from the noise. We had 2 bedroom suite. Was large and nice and clean when we arrived. Beds comfortable and staff was friendly.

French Quarter Gem!

Cons: Would recommend upgrading the pillows.. they were rather uncomfortable; and after 3 nights stay it was tough to get a good nights rest.
It was my first trip to New Orleans and with little information to go on except reviews and online research, and I was so pleased with my choice in this hotel. I felt like my choice truly captured the NOLA feel I was looking for with the patio garden outside the room, long brick narrow hallway leading to the street, and incredibly friendly front desk staff. It was walking distance to all the popular venues, and quietly enough away from the noise on Bourbon St.

near Bourbon street

Pros: clean, newly decorated. Walk in shower
Cons: a common room to lounge indoors
Location: Everything nearby
Hotel only 2 blocks from center of Bourbon Street. So access was easy and you did not get the noise. Room was small, but they have others. We chose the least expensive. Staff Friendly and helpful. Many restaurants nearby. Transportation available 24/7. Did not rent a car and are glad. It would have been a real hassle.

Nice place, good staff

Pros: Location
Cons: Additional ice machines
Location: Close to Bourbon but not so close the crowds are bothersome. Nice bar across the street.
We loved the location of this hotel and that is why we booked it. Some of the reviews made us a bit hesitant, but we loved it. Room was very comfortable and spacious. Staff was helpful and friendly, and they kept the room very well. My only "wishes" are that the room had a desk (complete with pad and pen) and ice closer to the room (had to walk around the building to get it). However, I would definitely stay again.

Red Dress Run Weekend...................

Pros: THE Location, THE Staff.
Location: This Hotel is with in the French Quarter. Walkable to everything. Food, Drink, Sight Seeing all right there.
First off, I love this property and have stayed here before and will stay again. Being from New Orleans, and knowing the Quarter, even in these old buildings behind a closed door you're still going to hear outside noise to some extent, so you deal with it. Everyone there is OVERLY nice, room was clean and comfortable with furnishings. My "ONLY" issue was the heat in the room. The friday night was very hot, brought it up to Desk in morning, being booked they couldn't let us have another room. She let us clean up and head out for the Red Dress Run and sent Maint. in. Came back to the room at 4 pm and was still warm, but by the time we went to sleep at 10 pm, much better, alot cooler.
