The hotel was nice the bed was very comfortable. Sam at the front desk was amazing so helpful. The only serious issue I had was that a hotel staff( not the maid) open my room door without even knocking on the door.

Cons: microwave & refrigerator should be a standard in the room and continental breakfast should be included in stay.
Hotel staff & room comfort excellent!! Hotel location very convenient to public transportation & all major attractions. This was our second visit to New Orleans both times we stayed in the Garden district and when we return will stay at the Hotel Indigo again!

Terrific location

Everyone was helpful, kind, friendly and patient. Great staff, beautiful location, comfortable and clean rooms. Great value for your money. St. Charles streetcar stop right across from hotel, minutes away from Magazine street- excellent for food.

All in all a good stay...

Pros: Location, nice room for the money, had a great view of the city from our room.
Cons: The towels in general were stiff, a little scratchy. The shower hardware needs to be checked and tightened.
Location: Uber and the streetcar make the location great even if you are focused on the quarter or headed uptown. Great light breakfast near the property.
Started a little rough when all the towels were dirty and had to be changed out and it took a front desk visit and a follow up call to get it taken care of... kind of put a seed of doubt in my mind about the place. But the staff was nice and the location is excellent so in the end I'd say it was a good stay.

Convenient location

We arrived as scheduled and enjoyed a pleasant check in experience. The hotel is convenient to everything; walking distance to the Garden District and Magazine Street, streetcar stops in front of the hotel coming and going giving us an easy ride to either uptown or downtown. If the streetcar was not what we wanted. a short Uber ride was easy enough. The room was spacious but needed attention to detail - chipped paint, bad shower caulking, other little issues - those kind of items that separate nice from excellent. Some of the staff were not outgoing and pleasant - at times we thought we were disturbing their "chill" time. Also, we would have preferred longer restaurant and bar hours. All in all though it was nice enough to be recommended to our friends - if not staying at the Monteleone, Pontchartrain or other NOLA classic.

Beautiful Hotel. Parking lacking.

Beautiful hotel. Very clean. The entrance was a bit confusing so of course I missed it. Had to pass it, turn around, and come back. No valet person waiting for cars to arrive. Granted the valet was full, but in my opinion there needed to be someone out there to let you know. I wasn't told until I went to check in. Check in was smooth and easy. Now my biggest complaint would be that their parking lot is tiny. There is no way that there is enough spots for all the rooms at this hotel. They couldnt park my car which was at first understandable due to the holiday. But what I do have a problem is there was no other options offered. I was treated as if it wasn't there problem and they didn't care. When I had to pay 500$ for one night I would expect some kind of parking option. In return I had to park my brand new Mercedes SEVERAL blocks away on a sketchy street. It then took me 15 minutes to walk back in the rain because I couldn't find a cab. Other than the parking situation we loved the hotel. Maybe we will stay there again.

Excellent facility and staff

Location: Most of the tourist attractions are located uptown and the public transit system is inexpensive and reasonably easy to use.
Facility looked recently remodeled and was well maintained. The staff seemed to take every opportunity to be helpful and friendly. The restaurant hours were convenient, food was good and the pricing is reasonable. The hotel experience couldn't have been better. The convenience of the street car passing in front of the hotel was a little more complicated than expected due to track repairs taking place. However, the $3 you pay for a street car day pass is the same pass used by all the busses. During the repair period buses stop at all the street car stops. The day pass is purchased when you get on the bus or street car using exact change only.
