"The rooms were clean and comfortable. One thing people need to know is that there's no elevator. If you need a 1st floor room, the hotel needs to know that when you make a reservation. The very nice front desk clerk said you can write it in the comments or requests section of your reservation."

The service was excellent, the room was exactly as expected for the money and even had a fridge, and it was close to restaurants/groceries. "Stayed here for a Mt. Whitney summit. It is good to have a place to pack your bags and relax at the end of the day. The place is old but very clean and well-decorated. Backyard is nice though I did t have time to enjoy it. Bathrooms were clean, no issues with hot water or AC. My favorite part of the house is the nook area off the kitchen for coffee in the morning. Drip, K-Cup, French press, and pour-over options are available. The property is a quick walk to town. I really enjoyed my stay here. "
