The room was quite basic, but clean. The facilties on site were excellent. We had a long, area wide powercut of around 7 hours on the Sunday evening (which was clearly not the hotel's fault), but the staff reacted really well. They were friendly and helpful, providing emergency lighting in the accomodation blocks, kept the shop open after dark and provided a BBQ for those wanting food. Clearly extra staff had been brought in to help, impressive on a Sunday night. The only small niggle was the slamming of the corridor door to the outside (by guests), which was really loud and especially annoying at night. It just needed some cushioning to dampen the noise.
