Good room, service was spotty

The alarm clock woke us up in the middle of the night. There is no daily housekeeping. That said, the room was nice, it was ready when we got there and checkin was flawless. Tried to use the text messages to get information about hotel and got no response.

Stayed in the cottages. They were spacious, clean, had a washer/dryer, microwave, fridge etc to make the stay easier. Pool was a great size. Food at the restaurants were tasty. Food items in general store were expensive, but expected. The overall accommodation had a relaxing resort feel.

This was one of the worst stays we have ever had. We stayed in one of the hotel rooms, the floors were not vacuumed, there were light bulbs missing in the lights, the bathroom door stuck when shutting it, the paint and wood was all chipped, nothing was dusted. The mattresses were very stiff and not comfortable. The food options are kind of slim the dinner buffet was not good and over priced. The breakfast buffet was ok but still over priced for what it was. The staff was not very inviting and most either yawn when trying to talk to them or were not very welcoming. Overall I was not impressed and will never stay there again. I also will not suggest staying at this hotel.

Average accommodation, like a Motel 6. Need updating. Food at the restaurants and ice cream parlor was poor. The Steak House had decent food but very expensive. Very convenient location in the Park, however.

The best way to see the National Park.

We lived the Ranch at Furnace Creek. In addition to being inside the park — and near all the must-see spots— there was so much to do for families including swimming, pickle ball and tennis, horseback riding, cycling, and golf! We enjoyed our entire trip while there and would definitely stay again. Next time though, we will book a cottage. They are more private so no noisy neighbors late at night (walls in the rooms are pretty thin) and there’s more space for relaxing after long hikes. While the rooms are near the golf course holes and have pretty nice patios and balconies overlooking the golf course, the privacy of the cottages seem a much nicer upgrade. Either way, there’s so much to love about the Ranch. Enjoy!!!

Screaming children

Everything was perfect except the couple next door. Their children were screaming slamming doors We tried to call the front desk but they never answered. We are an older couple that wanted to get a good night sleep This went on both nights. We highly recommend Death Valley.
