Great location, we never needed our car. The room was very clean and hot water was always available instantly. The heater and AC were great. Some of the furnishings were old and in need of updating or replacement. The breakfast pastries were the same all 4 mornings we were there, some variety would be nice. We definitely will stay there again.

Unfortunately...

Pros: The only thing this hotel has going for it is its location.
Cons: I would recommend that the older section around the office wing should be torn down. A remodel won't make the rooms larger.
Location: The location is excellent, close to the restaurants and shopping but there are so many better motels than this disgusting dump.
The small bedroom had a cabinet/dresser that originally housed the TV. As they have upgraded to a flat screen, the guest is saddled with an awkward situation. the TV sits on top of about a four foot high cabinet so that even when standing up in the room, it's just at the wrong height.From the bed, almost unwatchable. The insides of the cabinet are useless since the space where the TV was is unusable and very dated. The old nightstands were warped. There was no a/c or ventilation, nor was there a screen on the sliding window/door which left the only screened window in the bathroom which incidentally was open to the hallway. That would make the bathroom an open display for anyone walking by, i.e. no privacy. The bed was just ok but since the room was smallish,it felt very cramped.At 5'8" I felt like a giant in this room. The bathroom was one-half step away from disgusting. Tiny doesn't even begin to describe it. There was barely a fingers-width of space between opening the door and the sink. The shower was cramped and to make matters worse, they provided a bathmat not a shower mat so the drain was covered by the mat. When sitting on the toilet, my knees were considerably less than a foot from the shower door. If it was not for the location, it would be a budget hotel at best. The response at the desk was "oh next time upgrade your room." They should be ashamed to either charge that much for a substandard room or to not warn people that some of their rooms are just no good
