The staff is amazing!!! So accommodating as we travelled with our children. They gave extra towels and extra shampoo/conditioner. Breakfast was great too. Since Covid you only get a brown bag, they had a breakfast sandwich, granola bar, fruit, yogurt and juice!

Clerk that checked us in (at 1:30 a.m.) was very pleasant and helpful. Could not have asked for better service. However, the. Ext morning I asked for housekeeping attention in our room while we were out. When we returned 13 hours later, bed linens and towels were in the exact place they were when we left and trash had not been emptied. I placed the bed linens, towels and trash bag out in the hallway. They were still there in the morning. All of this AND there was mold on the shower curtain.

Bathroom exhaust vent hadn't been cleaned in months. Nor had the room air conditioner. Breakfast items were bagged and had to be picked up from the front desk. I assume to save the hotel money so guests couldn't get more than one of each food item. Breakfast sandwiches were individually wrapped as were the muffins and granola bars and other breakfast items. So there was no reason why they couldn't have been placed on the counter by the coffee machine. Coffee cups had no lids. The elevator bounces at each floor and hot coffee spills over your hands. Overall it wasn't a bad stay. I just won't be staying again.

We are looking into them, so they can be corrected. The breakfast to go is simply to adhere to Covid guidelines. Even though it is all individually wrapped, we still have to be careful with multiple people touching the packaging. We are happy to give extra items if you ask. Our room was disgusting! The entry and bathroom doors and handles were filthy, and there was an obvious smear of a dark red substance on the interior door knob handle and cap. One bed was partially off the base platform. The shower had mildew in the grout all along the built in, cracks on both sides near the shower curtain rod connection, and the shower curtain itself was stained and filthy. There are signs all over the lobby about extra cleanliness precautions and mask requirements in the building due to Covid, but the staff certainly did not follow through on the cleanliness factor here. Definitely won’t be staying at a Wingate again at any time in the future!!

My daughter and I checked into this location during a multi-state college tour. Lacy, staff member at the front desk was very personable. She gave us an excellent restaurant recommendation. On the downside, one of the cleaning team made a negative comment about our room number while we were the hall. Maybe because it was a handicap accessible room? We didn’t require the access but apparently it was one of the last rooms available. We checked in to shower, sleep and grab a quick breakfast before we drove another six hours.
