Tropicana Atlantic City – A Caesars Rewards Destination
"We stayed at the Trop on a Saturday night which was also Halloween. Our room in the North Tower was spacious and clean with a comfy king bed. The decor was beige and bland, surprisingly un-tropical -- we expected something sexier. There were multiple lighting options and they all cast a nice, warm, yellow/orange light. The bathroom had a good sized vanity counter around the bathroom sink -- much appreciated by my wife. The shower was big and bright and clean. The modern multiport charger with USB-A, USB-C, and wireless pad was an excellent amenity. There were a couple of problems: Valet parking upon our arrival was a mess. Long lines of cars and a 10-15 minute wait. Clearly they did not have anything close to enough parking attendants for this night. All for the low price of $45. We would have self-parked if we knew that situation. The hot water in our bathroom was barely there, at best reaching lukewarm temperature. (Other folks in our party in North Tower rooms had the same problem.) On Sunday we walked from North Tower to the Chelsea Tower to have breakfast at Gilchrist located on the lobby level there. Breakfast was fine, but the nearby restrooms in the common area were an absolute disgrace. I feel really bad for Gilchrist's owners and their customers. Those restrooms need to be gutted and replaced. Moreover it was honestly depressing to see the once sexy, glamorous Chelsea lobby area hollowed out like an insect carcass after a spider is done feeding on it."

"Pretty nice. A channel guide, either on the TV itself, or printed to stay in the room, would help. I hate surfing to figure out which channel is which."
